I bet they can use an ALIAS. Try it.
create alias ALIAS_01 for LIBRARY.BASE_TABLE(MEMBER_01)

They might not care for the column names, but at least they can get at
the data.

An alternative is to write a stored procedure they can call which will
let your RPG program select the proper member and return the nicely
named result set.
