The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
I get to answer my own posting....
V6R1 updated via ptf new requirements for authorization for
db2 requests and we had new users not in the group set up
for this. We solved this a year ago, but not maintained.

Subject: sql using cqe when qaqqini derived is specified
I can view the Visual Explain, see that CQE was used, reason is Derived Key or Select/Omit Indexes,
yet verified the QAQQINI used has the Ignore Derived Index specified.
The select statement inner joins 4 files and all in select are the physical file.
This is V6R1 and other sql are going to SQE engine.
Causing a big slowdown. These are .net requests. System at V6R1 and we believe this used to work (& not aware of changes).
