Hi, Coy.

It depends on which version of Excel you're using as to HOW you would do
it, but you CAN remove add-ins.

For Office 2010, if you bring down the "Customize Quick Access Toolbar"
and choose "More Commands" and then choose "Add-ins" you'll see the "Data
Transfer Excel Add-in" is a COM Add-in ... so you "Manage" COM Add-ins (at
the bottom of this screen) and you'll see you can "Remove" the Add-in.
