Larry,
There is/was an IBM website that had a list of educational facilities that
have an iSeries centric class in their catalog...but many haven't taught the
class in a very long time...

Jon,
Thanks for bringing this up. I'll definitely help out. One
question I have for the group. I seem to recall a website that showed
universities that did have some 'i' in the curriculum. Does this sound
familiar to anyone?
thanks, Larry

Future Programmers - The future of IBM i

Many of us have long been concerned over the lack of IBM i aware college
graduates.
Our friend Jim Buck has started a new initiative in partnership with IBM
and others. The "missing ingredient" is companies and additional schools
to commit to the program.
That is where you all can help.
There are details in our blog this week
http://ibmsystemsmag.blogs.com/idevelop/2013/06/need-more-help-help-yourself
.html
and if like us you think this a good idea then please take the survey and
take the first step to helping to make this program a reality.
