Different question.

The network server description cannot be in an iASP

The storage can be in an iASP.

I have a customer that uses PowerHA. All the network storage is in the iASP and the PowerHA product replicates it to the target with the hosted partition having no idea that it's being replicated. We make sure the supporting objects are replicated using Rocket's iCluster HA Assist. (the old data mirror).

The iASP itself is not network storage. It must be physical storage.
