A file created with QUERY/400 is found in either way with:
The WRKOBJ CL Command
Within the catalog view SYSTEMTABLES.

... but a file that is created by Query400 is a physical file (like any DDS
described file contrary to SQL defined tables).
If you won't find the Query400 file you may also not find DDS described
files.

A physical file can be accessed and used (with SQL) like any SQL table or
view.
... in this way your Crystal Reports Database setup, may be not correct!!!

Betreff: Not all AS/400 files are shown as tables

I am looking in the Crystal reports Database setup. THere you can see some
libraries with tables and views. I recently created a quick work file that I
want to use in Crytal reports. But it doesn't show up in the list. Also
created a view off it and this too does not show. Library is correct.

Work file was created via old Query 400. Is there any process needed so that
the file will show up as a table for crystal?
