Folks,

We have DDS defined files and we need to add an INTEGER column to the file
so we can do a SQL JOIN statement without data type conversions from a DDS
defined file to a SQL DDL define file.

The problem we have is if we use a DDL (SQL) generated table that has an
integer column defined on it and do a DSPFFD on that file we get the
following:

Data Type: BINARY
Field Length: 9 0
Buffer Length: 4
Buffer Position: 1

We so far have been unable to replicate this type of field with a DDS Spec.

How do we represent an INTEGER in DDS or are we required to convert this
to SQL DDL defined file and get rid of the DDS Spec?

Thanks,

Matt
