Another thing to consider. There is a graphical tool for operations on
IBM i. Actually there are two which come to mind. The first is called
"System i Navigator for Windows". Another is "IBM Navigator for i". The
latter is a web based product you can find on newer versions of the OS by
going to http://youribmi:2001. On 7.1, with recent PTFs, this was greatly
enhanced.
In either one you can customize the view. You can change it from the
default of just the current user to all users. You can also customize the
date from selecting all dates to a date range. Like from May 13, 1975 to
March 13, 2013. Then you can 'select all' and delete those.
Both tools are free with the OS.
