Eric,

I wouldn't use this as your closing argument to get a tape library. That
isn't going to fix it.
Once I stopped fighting the system and started using BRMS a library in
random mode is the way to go. Trying to do it on your own without BRMS,
well, it can be done, and I did use a library in random mode (this library
does not support switching to sequential) for a few years without BRMS,
but it IS a blue blooded um, bear!
