The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.

One method of obtaining the programs using the file would be to run the
command:
DSPPGMREF PGM(MYLIB/*ALL) OBJTYPE(*ALL) output(*outfile)
outfile(qtemp/oufile)
Outfile can be queried looking for the file in question. The columns to
check would be where WHFNAM = your file and WHOBJT = 'F'
To set the size, use
chgpf mylib/myfile size(*nomax)

Subject: Physical Files
I would like to change a PF file size to *NOMAX. How can I change the size.
and also how do I check if the physical file is used in any other programs.
If I change the size to *NOMAX will it impact other programs.
