Re: convert LF's to SQL - LF's have Select/Omit

One of my big beefs with DDS over DDL is that there's so much that has to
be done outside of DDS that is done internally with DDL. Doing it outside
of DDS is open to a big possibility that someone will come along and
simply recompile the DDS and think all is well. Some of these concerns
are:
pagesize
ADDPFCST

Most shops do not employ a change management package. Or may employ it
wrong. (Fight vs Embrace). Or think source version control is all they
need.

And there are still developers out there who've stopped learning so long
ago they don't realize that you can use CHGPF on your DDS to add new
columns to a table but instead think you still have to rename the old,
create the new, copy the data from the old into the new, delete the old...

And since you're just not going to get IBM to add any new DDS keywords
that's a dead end street.
