Be sure you are talking about the right direction, and whether both systems are IBM i or a mix of IBM i and Linux/Windows.
I have a hard time thinking that we can MOUNT over /QSYS.LIB - that would mean absolutely no access to the local contents of that "directory".
If we CAN do that, the remote server has to be an IBM i, since there is no such thing as QSYS library on other platforms.
Just guessing - have been wrong a couple other times.

It appears that directories in the the "root", "optical", and "qsys.lib" file sytems can be mapped to a remote server using NFS, so normal save and restore operations should work with files on a remote server.
