I'm facing a system that has very little space left (v5r4), i want to
get the lastest CUM, HIPER, etc etc on it but i hate burning CDs so
i've always ftp'ed the images, made a catalog and installed from
there.
Now, i dont know if the system has enough space left for me to get all
the useless PTFs there (i have the 40 something cd group that includes
up to the kitchen sink...) so i was planning on burning the 4 or 5
dvds i would need. Yet i find no option on the fixcentral site to
generate the images as DVD instead of CD. it seems that if i ask for a
6.1 or 7.1 acum it makes a DVD image, if i say v5r4 it makes CD...
I somehow dont think that cutting and pasting the folders inside the
cds to a single dvd will work (i assume some sort of catalog file is
present on each). So... Any ideas? I just remembered that Navigator
has some options for PTFs is it possible to update the other system
(production) first and then make both system equal via Navigator?
