Boss told me the console was "different". He did not elaborate. I am
wondering if the network card inside that pc went a little wonkey.
That has happened to other computers in the hospital. I am not sure
what he meant by "different". Just got off the phone with IBM
hardware. Nothing in the logs, and I have seen nothing in the history
as yet. Did see an odd UHP message I will investigate, which produced
a PAUSE. But, the message never made it to QSYSOPR display, thus
things stalling. Maybe the UHP message was nothing of importance, but
console timed out. Things to look into.

If the console does not work, then if you have the same problem happen
again you could be in the same situation. Master console should be
working, if not then that is another problem that might need to be looked
at.

This conjecture is all a little silly. Why not just get the console going?

Already running.

Tried the interactive subsystems, BINTER and BINTER2. Neither was
running.

Make me think the startup program hung or didn't start. Still no
interactive sessions. Maybe some part of tcp is still down?
