We offer a client for Apple devices, as well as many other devices. It is available on the Appstore, and there is no charge for the client itself. Out of the box, so to speak, it will connect to our demo server. There is however a concurrent connection license fee for production use.

I would agree with others that the built in camera is good for casual scanning, at best. There are manufacturers of "sleds" that the iPad, iPhone, or iPod Touch slide into. These house a scanner, be it 1D, Imager, or mag card reader.
