The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
In a single level storage system like the IBMi, what are the chances that any useful data could be retrieved from a disk if you were to:
1.) Power Down the system...
2.) Rearrange the disk drives in the disk subsystem slots.
3.) IPL to DST and reconfigure the disk hardware.
I would think that the chances of anyone getting any useful data off of these drives would be less than your chances of being hit by a lighting strike on your way home tonight.
