I've submitted DCR's clamoring for support for W8 for IBM i Access for Windows.  This crap of waiting until the OS is so obsolete it's been replaced has to stop.

If it's Windows RT, then "no" as it's not x86/x64-based.

If it's Windows 8, then "yes" since it's Windows 8.  Tablet is just the
formfactor.  You linked to a Surface Pro, which runs real Windows 8.  Once
IBM supports Access on Wn8 it will work.
