Not to try and burst your bubble, but we moved away from the i version of SVN several years ago and never looked back.
The Windows version smoked it in performance.
Should still be able to use QSH based client code against a different repo.
You could always call Softlanding and see if they can help.
Mark Phippard is now with Collabnet. You might be able to reach out to him.

subject: V7R1 Subversion 1.4
We have been using the Softlanding port of Subversion 1.4 for V6R1 on
our V7R1 box.
We are using this to save our web based PHP source projects.
Recently IBM decided they would implement Large File support in their
Apache Server version 2.2.11. PTF SI47574
https://www.ibm.com/developerworks/mydeveloperworks/wikis/home?lang=en#/
wiki/IBM%20i%20Technology%20Updates/page/IBM%20HTTP%20Server%20for%20i%2
0-%20Large%20File%20Support%20Overview
With this PTF our Mod_DAV_SVN apache plugin has stopped working.
The instructions listed on the ibm developerworks page tells us all we
need to do is recompile the programs with DEFINE(AS400 AS400_UTF8
'_LARGE_FILES').
We had downloaded the source from the now unsupported Softlanding v6r1
port and updated the SVNMAKE RPGLE program to include this the new
define.
We were then able to compile Subversion without any apparent errors.
We restarted our Apache server and were able to view the repositories.
Using the QSH we were also able to checkout a project.
The system will allow us to create and export any repository.
However, now we are unable to commit changes to any repository we
created.
We always get "svn: Malformed file" with any commit or import we
attempt.
Has anyone had any luck in getting the Softlanding Subversion 1.4 port
working on V7R1 after applying the ptf to enable large file support for
IBM HTTP Server SI47574?
Has anyone had any luck getting any other version of Subversion running
on the iSeries at v7r1?
Thanks for any help,
Chris Hiebert
