RE: how to sort a file in place?

Can't you create a view with the sequence you want over it or can't you use an SQL statement like

SELECT * FROM WORKFILE1 ORDER BY COLUMNB, COLUMNA

Except for an interesting exercise in sorting why sort a table when you can use views, indexes and SQL statements?
