Our v7 box has 1.2 TB of disk, with only 16% used. We have 16 MB of memory.
This is the main partition and no other partitions, while defined, are even
active.
I don't think it's a memory or disk space problem. It seems like there are
limits set on the space the system allows itself for PTFs? The CPF362C
message seems to imply this by instructing me to permanently apply any
temporarily applied PTFs and/or IPL. I've done both and still get the
error.

Tom,
Do you know how much storage the machine has, how much is available, if you
have files/outq's/qhst that can be backed up and cleared?
What version of the o/s are you dealing with?

A bit more info might prompt some help. I doubt that I can help much these
days.

Cheers,

Norm Dennis

I am having trouble getting the latest cume, HIPER and DB PTFs applied.

I downloaded them to my system (which results in SAVF in QGPL) and tried to
use option 8 of GO PTF. However, it keeps failing with "Insufficient
storage for Licensed Internal Code fix." (CPF362C).

I've permanently applied all the temporarily applied PTFs that I can (any
remaining have requirements of other PTFs which are downloaded as Cover
letters only).

I would start over downloading into image catalogs (because I've seen other
here mention that they had success with this method), but I fear the issue
would remain. I am told I am about two years behind on PTFs so the
downloads are large. But I have no idea how to enlarge the storage
necessary for loading and applying PTFs.

Anyone with ideas?

Thanks in advance
