The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

Bob,
You can easily change the colors in your 5250 emulator, can't you? I
guess I don't see why you'd want the screens to be blue instead of
green, it really doesn't solve any problems... but if you think that it
will, you certainly can do that!
Personally, I don't buy the idea that users will think any GUI screen is
"Windows". None my my users think that their cell phones are running
Windows, and they are all GUI. Nobody I know thinks their Playstation,
XBox or Wii is running Windows.
Frankly, I don't find it difficult at all to get users to think GUI
applications can be something else besides windows... that's my
experience, anyway.

Remember AS/400 was just short for Application System 400. Change the
default green screen to blue maybe? Then My users might notice a
difference and I can get them to call is by the right name. Giving them
new web or windows based application just means they think we now run on a
windows system it won't get them to call it by the right name either.
