Yes, LAN Console is great when you don't have an HMC. I switched my Twinax over to it a year or two ago. I think it's "easy if you know what you're doing."

There have been many, many posts here about it. It involves control panel options 65+21, possibly changing Ethernet configuration (we had to swap our "normal" connection to another port to free the correct one for the console on our Power 5 520), and various other bits depending on your goals.

Thanks. I'll try to get BRMS into the next budget year, but that starts next July. We already have a few extra PC's and Client Access. Is there a way to switch from a twin-ax console to a PC console? I saw something about that somewhere. I also heard that using a twin-ax card from Bosa Nova works too.
