Not that weird, and you dont need to spend double maybe keep the
switch before this one, but in our humble shop fiber goes in one pair
of switches and network on the other. Network has no redundancy, fiber
has. I have even changed 2 sun switches for 2 ibm switches, only
waiting for the mpio driver to notify the paths gone/arrived...
