You have to enclose your command between quotes ("), as in:
system "SNDEMAIL ADDRESSEE((ROB@xxxxxxxxx)) SUBJECT(TEST) MESSAGE('14:57')"
My apologies, my previous post was incomplete. It is a bad habit of mine,
sometimes, I just give the most general idea of a particular solution and
let my interlocutor to guess the rest. It happens mostly when I'm operating
in a very heavy "multi-tasking" moment... :-)
