Peter,

I am sure you will find your answer here that will work
until IBM releases a new version of their OS, new PTF or
Microsoft Win8 comes out.

Something you should consider is a IBM host based 3rd party
solution.
Let the 3rd party vendor worry about how to make it work
every release or version of IBM or Microsoft that comes out.
May seem like a waste of money to some people spending money
on something you can do yourself. But not having to
continually deal with these types of issues
Keeps you from doing more important programming tasks. And
there is a ton of other things you would be able to do with
a 3rd party application such as
Report bursting, converting reports to PDF, Excel etc,
emailing, password protecting reports the list goes on and
on (stop printing reports completely)

Subject: Drag and drop reports from iSeries to desktop

Hi list!

I am trying to download my spooled files, using iSeries
Navigator, to my desktop but when I select a bunch of
spooled files and drop them on my desktop, the file named
"~drgdrp.tmp" appears and that is all that happens.

Any ideas?

This is v6R1.

TIA,
Peter Vidal
