Yeah I went through the same thing. I ended up using a Code 128 Subset C
w/FNC1

If you are using the API, the API from USPS is returning back to you the
PostalRouting value along with the Tracking number.

I used those and formed the string like so...

BARCODE = %Trim(PostalRouting) + X'8F' + TrackingNumber;

I believe Code 128 subset C w/FNC1 begins with the FNC1 character.

X'8F' is FNC1.

USPS approved the label I created.
