Off the cuff... does CHGPF work on a source PF?

Subject: Change length of Source file
Anyone found a method of changing the record length of a Source Physical other than copying it?
I have a bunch with the 92 length and would like to change them to 112 but neither CHGSRCPF or CHGPF will do it as far as I can tell.
