I would do a GO DISKTASKS and collect disk information, and print it after the collection is done. Then I would also do a RTVDIRINF, which will get the information on the IFS. Then do a PRTDIRINF to see what is growing in the IFS. On almost all our customers machines, we have disk tasks scheduled to automatically run once during the weekend so there is always up to date information available when needed.

You may need to do a RCLSTG. I had this situation several years ago where something happened to my system and about 20% of my disk space was not usable. On the later releases this is not as important, but may be required from time to time. Note: it is a standalone function and could take several hours.

Another area that consumes disk space is the IFS and Folders. You may have functions that are adding files to the IFS (WRKLNK) and hopefully not the folders (WRKFLR). I have seen sites using images for faxes, PDF documents etc. These are all stored on the IFS.
