subject: Re: Poweline/HomePlug Network Adapter and iSeries
I have been using Powerline products from Netgear for about a year now.
It seems to work pretty well but power outages drive them crazy and getting
all the connections back up requires some screwing around.
Netgear sells their products by "line speed", so the higher the speed the
higher the price.
My pair cost around $80.

and they have this coming soon:

Has anybody had any experience of using Powerline/HomePlug network adapters (the ones that use the electrical mains ring in your house to carry the signal), particularly with an iSeries. We're currently renting a house while waiting for ours to sell and the router is rooms away from the iSeries. I'm sure the adapter's will work fine, but don't want to spend a lot of money if they're not going to work or perform poorly.
Thanks
