hi Cyndi,

We are using both Ricoh and Sharp copiers. We don't use RMTOUTQ (YUCK!) with any of them, we use a *LAN DEVD that's communicating with the IBM SNMP driver, and it has worked very well with both models.

I had to write some custom exit programs that are quite complicated to enable the stapling and hole-punching features of both copiers. But, if you don't need that, standard host-print-transform works well.

Morning everyone. At some time today, I will have a new
copier/printer to integrate into our system.

In the past, we have had Ricoh copiers. On the iSeries, we have
created outq's with remote writers. Not the best option, no
control.

I would like to have more control (page control especially) on these
new ones. We will be getting one Canon iRc 8105; 5 Canon iR 6065's;
and an unknown number of Canon iR4045's. We are currently on V6, but
going to V7 in a few months.

Recently there was a discussion of how to do this, could someone send
me a link ? I'm not putting together search arguments very well
today.

Thanks to all.
