Perhaps my initial question led to some confusion as I used the phrase
'exit point program' - my apologies.
I like Rob's description that "A BRMS exit is like being able to insert a
line into the control
group" - that sums it up nicely.
Anyway, Jim's suggestion to submit the job from the exit did the trick and
everything worked flawlessly!
