You have to use two sessions and use SBREAK when setting the debug in
the trigger program. Then when the program starts you have to do a
STRSRVJOB in the second program.

Be careful about putting any substantive logic in a trigger program.
The program is locked and cannot be changed unless the tables is
closed.

Can I put a trigger pgm in debug using STRISDB or STRDBG,

Then update a record using DBU

And have the debug session pop up for the trigger pgm?

If not, how can I update a pgm in DBU and debug a trigger pgm using DBU to update the data in the PF?

Thanks
