We have an iSeries V7R1 making a connection to a Windows XP workstation

fails
on the desired share. I have read through forums, and most all are
not getting the connection at all (for one reason or another), but in our
case we can talk tot he Windows PC, just not the desired share. This has
to
be simple, but we have been working on it over a week. Some errors
include:

from iSeries Navigator
The path, \QNTC\servername\sharename\*.*, was not found.
CPFA0A9 Object not found. Object is /QNTC/servername/sharename.

from green screen
mkdir '/QNTC/ipaddress/sharename'
Not authorized to object. Object is /QNTC/ipaddress/sharename.

mkdir '/QNTC/servername\sharename'
Object not found. Object is /QNTC/servername\sharename.

wrklnk '/QNTC/servername\sharename/*'
Object not found. Object is /QNTC/servername\sharename.

But again, we can access a different sharename on the Windows PC without
fail.
