You can certainly get them from FixCentral but with VIOS that turns out to be the easy part. I have done several VIOS updates and I would say the process is 'cryptic' to say the least. It's certainly no 'GO PTF take option 8' scenario.

Read and Understand the documentation before you start. Hopefully it has improved because it has not been written to the same standard as IBM i documentation.

You can download fixes and upgrades from FixCentral.

Select "Virtualization software", then "PowerVM Virtual I/O Server" to
get the releases and some information about the way to upgrade.
