On the back of the unit, right side, just to the left of the power plug -
looking through the vent holes, when it is plugged in there should be a
green light (the light comes from a LED on the circuit board inside of the
power supply). If you have connected all the power cables correctly, and
this light is not on, the power supply may not be functioning.

would the next thing you would look for? Is there an internal battery that
would cause the front panel not to come on? Any guidance on what to look
for and where to look would be appreciated.
