What's missing, is that a person could - technically - occupy more than one board position, and perhaps neither of them is on the Management Committee. In practice, that multi-position condition doesn't often happen unless someone is on leave, but it does cast the obligatory monkey wrench.

Could you just add the board members to the file, and point the UberBosses to them? And flag the 'my boss' field for the board members as *TOP or something like that?

You could then twist the 'BoardMembers' file around, and make it a logical over the employee file selecting only those entries with *TOP...

Or have I missed something important?
