Have you tried just reinstalling the one in error? Get to restricted state and GO LICPGM to install. The one in error should be selected.

Hello,

I have been installing additional software for V7R1M0, and now have the
*ERROR status under LICPGM.

The error (reason code 4) indicates: "The product was previously installed
and was being replaced. An error occurred afer the preoperation exit
program processing."

Based upon Googling the messages, I executed this command, but it results
in same error loop:

CHKPRDOPT PRID(5770S1) RLS(V7R1M0) OPTION(3) CHKSIG(*NONE)

I'm afraid if I deinstall, then reinstall I'll get and error elsewhere -
vicious loop!

Appreciate any tips!

Thanks...james
