I have a customer that have not software maintenance with IBM and request a
password for celogin for two days to IBM and he received the password.
The second option coud be dangerous, because when the services processor is
reseted, is like to have a brand new box(IP address for the service
processor, password, etc.)
Alf.

Asunto: ASMI Login Password
While in the HMC trying to track down a 100090F0 reference code today, I
got as far as trying to get into the ASMI. Unfortunately, that needs a
password and the prior administration doesn't seem to have left any.
There are 4 User IDs shown; 3 are disabled and celogin is the only one
enabled.
Googling around, it looks like there should be an admin user id, but no
password I can think of seems to work.
To reset the password, you should contact your service provider, or reset
two jumper switches somewhere on the service processor. I am loathe to try
this latter approach (hardware is my second, inherited,
career.)
Is there a secret CE Login that our maintenance company should have?
(We are on 3rd party, not IBM, hardware maintenance. We do have IBM
software maintenance. Not sure where this falls.)
