The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.

I agree w/Chris.
Though, you can monitor for a shutdown using sigaction() as well, and I
like that better, because the program will respond to a *CNTRLD end
immediately (rather than waiting til the next time it happens to check
%shtdn)
But, I agree.. if you're coding a server/daemon/service/nep (all
different words for the same thing) you really need to check for shutdown.
