Look at it this way. Perhaps it wasn't designed for what can be done with
PWRDWNSYS RESTART(*YES). Look at it as a power saving option. IPL a half
hour before I show up at the office and power down an hour after I leave,
giving it some time for backup and nightly runs. Probably impractical for
a vast majority of shops but you give that green capability for those who
want to use it. For what you are trying you might be better off with
WRKJOBSCDE.
