I was able to get installed in excel 2007.
they have a forums section that helped.
<Excel 2007>
Click big excel button(upper left) -> "Excel Options" -> "Addins" ->
Manage 'Com Addins' -> Go. Then click "Add" -> Navigate to "C:\Program
Files\SQL Excel\SQLExcel.dll"
then when adding a connection you need to know what the ODBC connection
string looks like.
I used:
Driver={Client Access ODBC Driver (32-bit)};
System=1.2.3.4;
Uid=MyUserID;
I'm sure there are other options for library list etc. I just have not
had a chance to look them up.
Very interesting,
Bryan
