I tried
ADDIMGCLGE IMGCLG(VRTCLG) FROMFILE(*new) TOFILE(vrt002) IMGSIZ(25000)
TEXT(VRT002) ALCSTG(*MIN) VOLNAM(VRT002)
but changed it to
ADDIMGCLGE IMGCLG(VRTCLG) FROMFILE(*new) TOFILE(vrt002) IMGSIZ(25000)
TEXT(VRT002) ALCSTG(*IMGSIZ) VOLNAM(VRT002)
because the first one aborted my backup. It didn't care that I told it to
use 25GB, it was only going to use the *MIN size (which was very paltry).
Now the sizes, before the first backup, are:
Size of object data in bytes . . . . . : 12369
Allocated size of object . . . . . . . : 26221215744
