Re: Lexmark ipds card

It only shows up in the "parts dept".
Nothing beyond single line description.
Other vendors sell it as well, but no detailed description.
It's been ordered so they will see what arrives.
This is all replacing two older lexmarks that are "burned out".

and has always been expensive beyond reason.

The combo card could support IPDS and twinax(SCS), which I guess
explains the +$500 price tag.

Maybe you only get IPDS with the other card ???

I can't find any reference to the 40X5957 in my materials or
at any of the Lexmark support sites...

Seems very odd such large price diff. Lexmark website is limited, can find details only on 30G.. part, and their tech support could not explain the diff.

Anyone have experience with these?
