Postmortem:

I installed their software and it works as advertised. I had no problems
testing things. It is PCI compliant. Their quote for fees was less than
what we're paying now. In addition, I could have put some real hooks into
our System i software to really automate things. I was really looking
forward to using them.

Instead, we did an analysis of our CC sales and made a business decision.
87% of our CC sales are to 2 customers. The other 13% is spread over 7-9
customers. We're not making any money on the 13%, and not as much as we
should on the 87%. When we can get those 2 customers weaned off CC usage,
we're going to stop taking CC altogether. It's been a 10+ year experiment
and there just isn't that much interest from our customer base.

i5. I have the name of a reference (who happens to be out this week
and will return Monday).

- Jetpay i5 is menu driven for an end user as well as a set of APIs so
CC processing can be integrated with inhouse software.

I noticed that.

I did speak to the Jetpay i5 Marketing Director yesterday regarding
references for companies actually using this software. They have been
reluctant in the past to do this. His reason is they are all bankers
in a previous life and are secretive with this stuff by nature. I
don't know what I think of that answer just yet.

In any case, I have 2 names and phone numbers of employees to contact
at Jetpay i5 with any and all questions. I plan on doing that later
today. Stay tuned boys and girls.
