A good place to look it at the System Administrator Certification Exam 
by IBM.

The objectives give you a look at the things the System Administration 
SMEs that wrote the test feel are the important issues to solve.  
Obviously some of the items on the list may not apply in your situation 
but it's an excellent starting point.
