Just this week a local company reached out to me after spending $6.5M on

a move to Oracle based software. That software, the CIO and most of his
team are gone. The "AS/400" is back out of the closet, and recently
upgraded. I should be getting over there soon to assist in moving them
into 'the future of i'. :-)

hardware upgrades, 4 O/S upgrades and now their third Admin.

They are spending $1 million a year on this migration project and
every year the System I budget line is $0 (actually maintenance only.)
