The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

Others have mentioned DSPFFD - it doesn't return things specific to
DSPFs - it might be useful for things like text descriptions, although
maybe the QUSLFLD is a better way (use APIs, not commands) - other
information probably requires the use of the QDFRTVFD API - Retrieve
Display File Description - it is not for the faint of heart, just
because of the nested nature of the information, requiring extensive use
of pointers and structures.
There was cited an article at mcpressonline with a DSPDSPF command - no
source available at first look - I may have an old CD with source from
them - the article is from 1999. I'll dig around and see what I can find
sometime.

Hello,
don't know if there is an app that retrieves the DSPF source to a
srcpf-member.
But, one can do a DSPFFD command tot he DSPF, too.
So one can output this to a file and create a new member in one's
source-file using RPG for instance.
