Re: APPC connection to application on the SAME host?

We merged multiple systems together. We had numerous processes dealing
with EDI that would distribute data. We ended up biting the bullet and
rewriting parts of it.

Except that I don't have the source code for App A. Can't rewrite it (in
fact, the reason I want to do this is to build an adapter that I *can*
rewrite).

I guess the thing that confuses me most is determining the network ID. I
think I understand how to specify the partner LUname. The question is ifI
let the network name default to *LCL, is APPC smart enough to figure out
that it doesn't need to go over the network to get there.
