It wouldn't be a "more natural" look. The height/width ratios are out of whack on a widescreen.

The owner of our company has such a monitor. I've never been able to figure
out how to spread it out across the whole screen, but he said he didn't mind
so I didn't try after that. He's over 70. I mention that because old farts
are usually the most adamant about things like this.

You could "solve" the "problem" by taking away the user's widescreen monitor
and replacing it with a dinky one. That ought to make him/her real happy.

When using the defaults in Client Access (iSeries Access, System i
Access, etc.), when the window is maximized on a widescreen monitor, the
text remains centered with blank space around the margins. I have been
playing with the font settings, etc. to try and find a way to allow the
text to be 'maximized' with the window for a more natural look, but I'm
not having much luck.



I have a user that is adamant that it be this way. Has anyone else been
able to figure this out?



We are using the latest version of System i Access.
