The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

There are several vendors offering services of this type. The question
is are a) you interested in just having the journals available off site
with the intention of getting them backed up and sent to you in the
event of a recovery, or b) interested in a replicated back up solution
that offers a hot side for recovery, or c) a Nearly HA environment where
a cutover to the hot site can be done reasonably quickly? You need to
have Recovery Points and Recovery times in mind when you call the
vendor, those are among the first questions they will ask.
<Vendor Response>
Larry and I are preparing such a service now as a full commercial
extension to iDevCloud.

Logicalis and Park Place are two of several vendors offer similar
services. Please contact Larry or myself off line if interested.

Does anyone on this list know if and 3rd party or IBM is talking about an offering for iSeries customers to do remote journaling to the cloud? Keep one copy local and send another to a remote server farm. That would give is almost up to the second recovery capabilities in case of disaster. We use the last backup and the journals form the cloud.
